Lucy Schachter

Lucy Boyd Schachter is a Senior User Researcher in AIUX at Google. She spent her early career in financial services working on new product development at Fidelity Investments. Prior to that, she was a Design Thinking Program Manager, where she developed her chops as a facilitator and coach. She’s experienced with design strategy and user research in many areas across financial services, including retirement, blockchain, and goal-based savings.

Lucy specializes in applying VTS to UX problems, from facilitating better team collaboration on design to applying VTS techniques to early-stage concept testing and user research. She’s most intrigued by thinking about what makes people tick and how to solve real human problems. Lucy has a B.S. from Northeastern University.
