Lucy Schachter

Lucy Boyd Schachter is a Senior User Researcher in AIUX at Google. She spent her early career in financial services working on new product development at Fidelity Investments. Prior to that, she was a Design Thinking Program Manager, where she developed her chops as a facilitator and coach. She’s experienced with design strategy and user research in many areas across financial services, including retirement, blockchain, and goal-based savings.

Lucy specializes in applying VTS to UX problems, from facilitating better team collaboration on design to applying VTS techniques to early stage concept testing and user research. She’s most intrigued by thinking about what makes people tick and how to solve real human problems.  Lucy has a B.S. from Northeastern University.
